Mauri, and Welcome to the Reinsurance and Non-Life Section. We appreciate

your interest in learning more about the important services we provide to

safeguard what matters most to you. As one of the cores operational hearts of

the Corporation, our section plays a vital role in managing risk and delivering

reliable protection to individuals, business and communities throughout

Kiribati.

The section comprises 5 dedicated staff, each of whom is trained in their

respective areas, ensuring efficient delivery of the services.

However, the Reinsurance and Non life section is responsible for;

1. Reinsurance Services- Arranging reinsurance cover with international

partners when the risks exceed the Corporation's capacity, and ensuring

financial security in times of large or unexpected loss.

2. Non-Life section- offer general insurance products such as:

a) Aviation- covering airfield, aircrafts and pilots

b) Fire insurance- covering properties, houses, contents

c) Motor Vehicle – covering passengers, third party, and own damage

d) Travel Insurance- Covering Medical and Health expenses, loss of

baggage, loss of money, liability, and death by accident

e) General Insurance- covering all kinds of accidents
